TRANSCRIPT:

Wendy Wright: Hi, everyone. I'm Dr Wendy Wright. I know that you've now finished watching and being a part of my session on dizziness and vertigo: diagnostic and treatment options.

I had promised when I started this lecture that I was going to give you a differential diagnosis list, and a way to approach those patients who have dizziness and vertigo, and to really simplify that diagnosis of those two conditions.

I also had promised that I'm going to give you some common and not so common causes. I hope you feel that now that you've watched this and been a part of this lecture, that you have a better way of approaching that patient who complains of dizziness, or lightheadedness, as well as vertigo, and that you have a better sense of those conditions that you never want to miss like peripheral vertigo, or central vertigo that might be indicative of a more worrisome issue. I hope you enjoyed your time with me. I want to thank you for participating in this lecture. Again, I'm Dr Wendy Wright.
