Dr Angela Golden: I'm Dr Angela Golden. I'm the owner of NP Obesity Treatment Clinic in Flagstaff, Arizona. Dr Fitch and I enjoyed creating this presentation to help showcase an overview of an obesity treatment plan. We hope you leave the presentation truly understanding obesity is a chronic disease, as well as the basic pillars of treatment. Those pillars include finding an eating plan with your patient, helping a patient increase their physical activity, and using behavioral interventions like brief motivational interviewing.

To impact a patient treatment plan we then review the way anti-obesity medications and/or surgery can support the basic pillars of treatment.

Finally, the case study demonstrates putting this treatment plan into action.

We look forward to attending and getting some of your questions about obesity treatment answered.
